Why are you doing a product review about a guitar capo? Good question, because obviously the functionality of a capo is pretty straight forward and there is really not much to demonstrate here. On the other hand, a lot of folks who took my Beginners Guitar Course are new to this device and I got a bunch of questions such as: what specific capo models can your recommend?
Well, that’s why I thought it might be worthwhile taping a short product review of the Dunlop Trigger 83 CB, a guitar capo that is specifically designed for acoustic guitars. With that being said, I can’t see why this device wouldn’t also work very well with regular electric guitars. Anyway, here is a short demonstration on the Dunlop 83 CB:
As mentioned in the video, this capo is only $13 bucks and it is well worth the money. It is very easy to use because of its clip-on technology – much better than my previous model that had a strap and a weird locking mechanism. You can apply this capo to your guitar within seconds and then you are good to go. It has a very firm grip and hold the strings tightly in place, so you don’t get any of those unwanted and annoying vibrations that sometimes occur when you use older or cheaper models.
Again, for under 13 bucks (click here for buying info) definitely worthwhile the investment.
